Beginning in June 2008, the Sheraton Edison Hotel Raritan Center will embark on a multi-million dollar “re-invention”. The all-encompassing project will affect our 276 guest rooms, lobby, meeting space, restaurant, fitness center, and lounge. The new lobby space will provide a sense of belonging, warmth, and community. The design will incorporate a communal table that allows several groups to work independently within the same space, while game tables and oversized chairs will encourage playful interaction or rest and relaxation. A significant component will be the “Link @ Sheraton experienced with Microsoft”, a signature lobby-based communications hub that includes free Wi-Fi and Internet-enabled computer stations. Our new and improved guest rooms will feature flat panel HD TVs and the new Sheraton Sweet Sleeper(SM) Bed, with a superbly comfortable mattress, ensemble of all-white, 300-thread count linens, and a new duvet. The bathroom refurbishment will include a free-standing vanity that is designed to minimize clutter and maximize space. Wall-mounted shelving will hold Shine by Bliss®. The Club Lounge will also be remodeled with a stylish and sleek new design. The hotel will introduce a new upscale dining experience featuring American cuisine. Supported by an elegant bar and lounge, this restaurant space will be a great place to relax, mingle with other guests, or entertain your business associates. The hotel will also offer a full-service Starbucks® that will offer a full menu of specialty coffees, cold beverages, pastries, and sandwiches, served to you by our helpful and courteous baristas. We will also be one of the first hotels to roll out the Core Performance® program, a 360-degree training and nutrition program that incorporates the organization's four fundamentals of optimal performance: mindset, nutrition, movement, and recovery.
